AI & KNOWLEDGE · PARENTBUDDY
School information lives in newsletters, letters, calendars and push messages, so parents end up searching their inbox for the time of a school trip. ParentBuddy ingests all of it, answers questions in plain language with a citation to the original source, and says so when the school hasn't covered something. It runs in production for UK schools today, embedded in the communication platform they already use.

An import–export firm depends on a 2002 desktop system nobody could safely change: 450+ modules and a 12.8 GB production database covering orders, shipments, customs and payments. We recovered the whole system into an explicit domain model of 18 business areas and 238 catalogued features. We are now rebuilding it as a modern web platform at strict feature parity, module by module, with the legacy system live throughout.

With Flosendo we built EduCity, a teacher-led simulation in which a class founds its own city. Pupils earn a virtual currency, buy land at auction, then build and run city services as teams. We rebuilt a heavy first version into a deliberately small system a school can rely on, backed by 2,900 automated tests, now live with its first pilot cohort.

Chess Vantage Academy taught online, but enrolment, scheduling and fees were scattered across a website, chat threads and manual reconciliation. We designed and built the whole platform: a bilingual English–Chinese parent app and web portal, plus a self-service back office where every payment reconciles itself and online lessons are provisioned automatically on booking. In parent testing now, ahead of the new school term.
